Although preparing a successful barbecue may seem easy at first glance, there are a number of essential tricks for the perfect barbecue that are worth knowing. You can start by determining how many people will be attending your barbecue. This way, you’ll know how much meat to buy and whether you need to make special purchases of ingredients for the more demanding guests. You should also know the location where you’ll be hosting your feast, whether it’s a gas or charcoal barbecue, and the utensils you’ll be using.

Barbecue: charcoal or gas? Which do you prefer?
Nowadays, gas barbecues are becoming more and more popular, and we choose them when deciding to buy one for our outdoor space. Gas barbecues are very easy to use, as the barbecue is heated up in just a few minutes with just the touch of a button and ready to cook.
These models can be used daily due to their speed, they produce no smoke, and the burners (the tube through which the gas flame emerges) last for years with proper maintenance. Almost all models come with deflectors (a metal piece that helps distribute heat and also protects them from dripping grease) or ceramic briquettes, for which we have replacement parts. They produce no ash, so they are easy to clean and maintenance is very simple. The knobs that adjust the intensity of the burners allow you to decide the cooking temperature and monitor it with the thermometer on the lid.

But you’re one of the purists and… do you prefer a charcoal barbecue?
It’s a little more laborious because you have to start preparing the charcoal or wood and wait for it to be ready before adding the meat and starting to cook, but they say its flavor is special and unique.

There are those with a cart that you can move anywhere and make your space easier; they’re perfect for enjoying with family and friends. They have an impressive design and are packed with features that make them unique, allowing you to enjoy complete cooking for all types of dishes. They’re ideal for large, spacious terraces for 100% cooking comfort.

The most chic are portable barbecues. They’re a true revolution in outdoor cooking.
You can take them anywhere in your home, to the countryside, or to the beach, and enjoy a meal cooked outdoors with great care. They’re easy to handle, the handles don’t burn, and they’re easy to clean. They come with accessories and trays that make cooking much easier and lighter to transport. Their aesthetically pleasing design comes in a variety of styles.

Meat:
Don’t forget to have the meat at room temperature for at least an hour before grilling. You can keep the meat near the grill to allow the pieces to sweat, but don’t place it on the grill until it’s very hot.
If you want to flavor the meat, you can place some aromatic herbs like rosemary or thyme on the sides of the grill to give the meat a touch of flavor.
Try different cuts of meat. In addition to chops, burgers, and entrecotes, it’s interesting to discover the pleasure of Iberian pork presa, Argentine skirt steak, or asado de tira (strip steak) to add variety to your barbecue.

Barbecuing meat takes time. Place the pieces on the grill and let them cook slowly. Place the next pieces of meat you’re going to grill in cooler areas, farther from the embers. Don’t touch the meat or turn it constantly. Let it cook slowly and only turn it over when it’s cooked through.

As for the order on the grill, start with chorizo, bacon, and blood sausage, then prepare the chicken pieces like wings or thighs and kebabs. Then, as you take them out, add the larger pieces that will need more time, so they can grill while your guests tuck into their starters.

Extinguishing and Cleaning
Once we’re done cooking and want to turn it off, keep in mind that even if there are no embers, they may still be very hot. It’s best not to put out the fire with water, but the important thing is to leave it completely out, so if you have to leave, you’ll have to resort to that option.

Cleaning your barbecue is a very important matter. We ensure its hygiene for future use and thus extend its life. Our professionals will be happy to explain to you at the time of purchase if you have any questions about the size, brand, and how to clean it comfortably for its best preservation.

Outdoor Kitchens
If you love cooking and have ample space on your patio, you can install an outdoor or built-in kitchen. This way, you can discover the joys of outdoor living while you cook. Built-in kitchens offer all the advantages of any gas barbecue, but with the added convenience of being able to sit on a counter, bar, or countertop, eliminating the need for a kitchen. They can also be easily removed and are convenient for organizing cleanup.
