Everything is stored in an aluminum box, protecting the fabric, frame, hardware, and motor.
What is an awning without a box?
An open awning with articulated arms is also known as a boxless awning. Thus, in this awning model, the mechanism and the canvas axis are also visible when retracted. Therefore, an open awning with articulated arms is the ideal choice when the structure is sufficiently protected from the elements by the building’s architecture—for example, by an overhanging roof or a roof offset.
