What accessories are needed to achieve the perfect awning? We already know that today there is a wide variety of awnings to suit every family, location, or taste. Awnings with softer curves and shapes, straight lines for those who love defined perfection, awnings integrated into the architecture of the wall, with a box or semi-box, with tilt and movement, and accessories to create a space on your terrace that borders on perfection.
Today’s post is dedicated to learning a little more about the accessories you can add to your awning. Shall we begin?
1. Sundrive:
Integrated solar module for driving the remote-controlled super-shade motor for the pergola. When the awning is extended, the front profile and guide rails form a perfectly coordinated visual finish.

2. LED-Line
Reading or Socializing Light, optionally available on the guide rails and/or on the canvas support tube, turns night into day. Thanks to the light, you can enjoy your time outdoors even more.

3. Stainless Steel Crank
If you have a motorized awning and want a second manual option, you can choose our range of cranks to operate them by hand. For small awnings, we also
offer cranks, but for larger awnings, we recommend using electric motors
.
4. Infrared heating:
For cool days and evenings, we recommend installing a heater for your awning or pergola. It can be installed under the awning or as a standalone unit.

5. Color combinations
The chest and trim are available in different colors and finishes that can be freely combined according to the decoration of each terrace.
6. Chest or semi-chest.
Choosing a chest or semi-chest for your awning is a very important decision. This extends the awning’s lifespan because it’s protected in an aluminum box that houses the fabric and frame.

7. Steering wheel
This accessory is perfect for balcony awnings, thanks to which they acquire a special elegance with the additional decorative element on the exit profile.

8. Ballast boxes
They provide reliable support for the pergola when it is not possible or desirable to fix the front support columns
to the foundation.
9. Motor:
This is a very convenient and simple way to electrically operate our awning. Our technical department can explain the functions and motor types in detail. This option is also available.

10. Sensors
Wind sensor:
The wind sensor is very useful for extending the life of the awning and protecting its fabric and structure. When there is a lot of movement and strong gusts, the sensor is automatically activated and the awning retracts into its box. It’s perfect for homes located close to the sea where it’s often quite windy.

Temperature sensor:
Measures the outside temperature and allows you to control your equipment (blinds, awnings, etc.)
to easily provide sun protection for your home.
It’s perfect for determining and setting the outside temperature
so you can lower your awning during the hottest hours and create an ideal indoor microclimate when
you get home.
Rain sensor:
The rain sensor allows the awning to close automatically when it detects rain. You can leave the house without closing your awning; it will close in case of rain or showers. Thanks to this sensor, the awning’s lifespan is significantly extended, thus protecting both the fabric and the structure.
Sun sensor:
No unsightly wiring required, it’s small and discreet enough to be placed anywhere on the facade. It protects your terrace, facade, and the interior of your home from light, UV radiation, and temperature. It creates dynamic insulation in summer and can lower the interior temperature by up to 9°C, reducing the need for air conditioning.
